Oia

Between Baiona and A Guarda is Oia, where the coastline stands firm against the force of the ocean. This spectacular sight can be seen from the mountains, where wild horses graze freely.

Olite

It is a Historic-Artistic Site where traces of a Roman and Gothic presence can be found in its walled enclosure and in the splendour of the medieval court of Carlos III in its castle-palace.

Oliva

Bordering on the province of Alicante, Oliva is the second most important town in the region of La Safor.

Olivenza

By rule of the 1297 Alcañices Treaty, Olivenza belonged to Portugal until 1801. Both Spanish and Portuguese monuments were restored thanks to a municipal initiative.

Olot

It is the capital of the region of Garrotxa. The medieval buildings that made up this town were destroyed in the 1427 and 1428 earthquakes. At present, the most remarkable feature of the city is its intense cultural and artistic life.

Olvera

One of the most characteristic towns in the mountains of Cadiz. Set atop a spur, the whiteness of its houses reflects the splendour of the sun of Andalusia.

Oña

A remarkable village since the times of Fernán González, it grew under the protection of the monastery of San Salvador and the grace of the monarchs.

Oñati

Located at the heart of peninsular Euskadi (the Basque Country), this town takes up a beautiful valley surrounded by green mountains on all sides except the southern one, where the giant Aloña limestone formation sits.

Onda

In the spurs of Sierra Espadán we find Onda, a historic village in the interior of Castellón, which holds an important monumental heritage, and has a long tradition in the production of ceramics.

Ondarroa

Ondarroa is a fishing and canning port. At the top of town, the church of Santa María and the Likona Tower are its chief characteristics.

Ontinyent

The town of Ontinyent is about 82 kilometres from the city of Valencia. Its old town has been declared Property of Cultural Interest. Its unique aesthetic is due to the contrast resulting from its stately 18th century mansions and the more modest Valencian buildings from the late 18th century and early 19th century.

Orgiva

Órgiva, the administrative and economic capital of the western side of the region of Alpujarra, has managed to combine in its urban development both a modern life style, and a rich historical heritage that reached our days almost intact.

Orihuela

Orio

On a small bay, Oropesa del Mar is a historic town in Castellón offering excellent beaches and modern services for tourism. Oropesa del Mar, in the heart of the Costa del Azahar, is a small town which has grown up on the shores of a small bay.

La Orotava

La Orotava is a historic town which sits in a beautiful valley of banana plantations.

Orreaga-Roncesvalles

In the northeast of the Navarre region and 47 km from Pamplona is Roncesvalles, the point of departure for modern pilgrims on the road to Santiago de Compostela.

Ortigueira

Ortigueira is situated in the province of A Coruña, in Galicia. It is famous for its picturesque landscape, which combines mountains, rivers, the sea and the widest estuary in the whole of the north of Galicia. The area is a stunning natural spectacle, offering visitors imposing cliffs, routes for hiking and fantastic beaches.

Osuna

Orense

Stretching out on the banks of the river Miño is the city of Ourense, which maintains its traditional link to the river through its Roman bridge. A crossroads, the Old City preserves major historic sites, outstanding among which is the Cathedral.

Palamós

Pamplona-Iruña

Paredes de Nava

El Paso

The municipality of El Paso is situated in the centre of the island of La Palma. It is the island's largest municipality and the only one that is not on the coast.

Pastrana

Located between the Tajo and Tajuña Rivers, this village with a medieval layout and feel is one of the most notable of the Guadalajara province. It was the residence of noble lineages and the location of convents founded by the mystic Santa Teresa de Jesús. Its old quarter has the Property of Cultural Interest designation.

Pedraza

Declared to be a Historic-Artistic Site in 1951, the village of Pedraza has one of the most beautiful main squares in Castilla y León.

Peñafiel

The town of Peñafiel was fortified in 1307, and has always been a leading trade centre and historic site. Its famous hilltop castle was declared a National Monument in 1917.
