Night observation in Galactica, Teruel

Stargazing activity with high-tech telescopes. First, there will be a naked eye observation to identify constellations and stars, and then the observation through the telescope will be interspersed with entertaining explanations about the celestial objects observed each night.Galáctica is the first park in Europe to combine astronomy education and observation of the night sky for all audiences. Promoted by the Centro de Estudios de Física del Cosmos de Aragón, Galáctica offers the public semi-professional facilities for scientific, educational, cultural and environmental uses. It's located near the Observatorio Astrofísico de Javalambre, in an area close to the town of Arcos de las Salinas (Teruel), which doesn't suffer from light pollution and has excellent atmospheric quality, allowing astronomical activities to be performed in very good conditions.Observations are made every Saturday of the year and on special occasions on other days of the week (summer special, holidays, etc.).
