Geo-route through the Mallos de Riglos

Walking among stone giants, the Mallos de Riglos. In this excursion we will have a walk around and between the magnificent stone sculptures known as “mallets”. We will find out some aspects about the birds living around and some of the mysteries and legends hidden there. These impressive stone guardians are and were witnesses of our history for several million years.Come with us andhave a “walk in the sky”, a trip into the past and the present through the Mallos de Riglos.Estimated duration: 3-4 hoursThe duration is an estimate and only half of it would be physically active; the rest would be used for explanations at the different stops along the route. Specifications: The starting point of the geo-route through the Mallos de Riglos is located at the parking lot of the town of Riglos. The whole route is on foot. The finishing point is the same as the starting point, and it is accessible by car. Transportation to the starting point is not included as part of the activity. This activity is suitable for children over 8 years old and the pace of the excursion will be adjusted to them. Younger children may follow the activity if their parents or guardians believe it is suitable for them. Necessary equipment for a proper performance of the activities suggested by Geopirene always includes water, appropriate clothes in keeping with the weather, sport or mountain shoes, a hat, and sunscreen. Such equipment must be provided by the client.We offer the possibility of buying an optional and individual insurance in case of accident for the activity development, which has an extra cost of €2.12 (for people between 0 and 70 years old.)
