Canyoning Mela (Abdet, Alicante)

Beautiful ravine located in one of the most charming areas of the province of Alicante-Costa Blanca, the Guadalest Valley. The views of the well-known Sierra de Aitana and the most unknown Sierra de la Serrella will lead us along our route into nature.The ravine presents two well differentiated sections; an initial opened stretch with more presence of vegetation, which will lead us little by little to the second section: narrower, rocky, cool and closer, where we can enjoy a lot of natural made pools, slides and jumps, and where you can make 2 rappels from 6 up to 8 meters approximately. Basic info: Beginners canyoning, technically easy to achive and very sporty. Located in an unbeatable location, with two well differentiated sections in which different descent techniques are put into practice.Approximately timming: 4 to 5 hours.Approximation: 20 min.Activity: 3 to 4 hours.Return: 20 min.Best time: According to water flow, normally from November to June.Meeting point: At Tramuntana Aventura agency or in the town of Abdet, by the parking lot after crossing the town through its narrow streets.
