    Ingredients for 4 people: 100 gm of butter 100 gm of flour 100 gm of sugar 2 eggs 1 teaspoon of powdered yeast 1 teaspoon of grated lemon rind

  • Preparation

    Leave the butter for a while at room temperature for it to soften, then blend in a bowl with the sugar until obtaining a smooth cream. Add the grated lemon rind and the eggs, one by one, and mix well. Add the sieved flour with the yeast, and gently blend. Place the cases for the madeleines on a baking tray and fill them with two thirds of the prepared mixture. Heat the oven and bake the madeleines at 180ºC for about 20 minutes.Remove from the oven and allow to cool.
