This was the first international gastronomy congress in the world. Its goals include to promote culinary avant-garde and gastronomic knowledge, and discover trends and processes of change in haute cuisine through presentations and meetings with some of the best chefs from different countries.

The slogan for the 2022 edition is "United Kulinary", to show what culinary life is like in the United Kingdom beyond its capital and that gastronomy can unite cultures.It will feature presentations by some of the most interesting and disruptive British chefs and different activities such as tastings. Other prestigious chefs will also be present, such as Andoni L. Aduriz, Quique Dacosta, Ricard Camarena, Oriol Castro, Gastón Acurio, Pablo Rivero and Dani García; some of them have Spanish restaurants in the United Kingdom.This edition will once again host the National Russian Salad Championship, the Chickpea Cuisine Championship, the Grill Championship, the National Dessert Contest with Tropical Fruit from Tenerife and the Apple Pie Championship by Asturias. This year also sees the addition of "Chef of olive oil", a contest where olive oil is the protagonist.
