Night Tipepool Safari

"Night tidepool safari" is a pioneering activity that was designed and first implemented between 2005 and 2007. Through them, the public can enjoy an experience that combines primary emotions together with exploring and discovery. These nocturnal visits to the rocky tidepool areas during the low tide are for groups of up to 20 people including adults and children.This project, flagship of Costa Quebrada, has evolved over the last ten years. We follow the amazing living creatures that can be observed in the area, and we also explain and go into detail on subjects such as tidal physics, marine biology and evolutionary history; adapting these contents to a greater public who is not familiar with scientific materials. This way, we guarantee that the activity is always straightforward, enjoyable and fascinating.Children are guided by specialized staff in an experience adapted to their specific needs in the nearby area in an activity parallel to that of adults. In fact, minors get involved in the experience by acting as explorers. This essential role allows them to search and supply samples for the development of the activity for adults.
