The base station is accessible by road and is located at an altitude of 2,356 metres. Its modern facilities feature cabins with a maximum capacity of 44 passengers, which reach the upper station in about eight minutes, offering spectacular views of the National Park.The upper station is located at an altitude of 3,555 metres and is the starting point for the Teide Crater Route (Telesforo Bravo, No. 10), which leads to the highest peak in a walk of around one hour. From the crater, you can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Tenerife and, on clear days, see the silhouettes of neighbouring islands such as La Gomera, El Hierro, La Palma and Gran Canaria.
