Burgos (Province)

Located in the interior of Spain, in the north of the Castile-León region. Its capital is the city of Burgos, the home of the only cathedral in Spain which has been individually awarded the World Heritage designation by the UNESCO.

Cabrera Archipelago (Island)

Scuba divers will find one of the best conserved sea beds on the Spanish coastline, with a dense meadow of Posidonia oceánica which favours the proliferation of a large number of species of marine fauna.

A Coruña (Province)

It is located in the region of Galicia in northwest Spain. Its Costa da Morte (Coast of Death) is an area of important marine ecosystems, with steep cliffs, dunes and fishing villages with traditional lighthouses and beaches.

Formentera (Island)

The beaches and coves of this Balearic Island, with their fine white sand and unique turquoise sea, are the perfect place to switch off completely. These coastal landscapes are dotted with little villages, natural harbours, and picturesque lighthouses, such as La Mola or Cap de Barbaria.

Girona (Province)

Located in the northeast of the region of Catalonia, in northern Spain. Its outstanding beaches are part of what is known as the Costa Brava and are located in such internationally famous resorts as Tossa de Mar, Cadaqués and Portlligat.

La Gomera(Island)

Peaceful and beautiful. This is La Gomera, known as "Isla Mágica" (the magical island). It is the second smallest of the Canary Islands, measuring barely 20 kilometres from north to south. It is an ecological treasure, and its coast is dotted with small beaches set between cliffs.

Guadalajara (Province)

It is located in central Spain, in the northeast of the Castile-La Mancha region. The best way to discover the area's rural landscapes is to visit its famous Black Architecture villages. There are also several protected natural spaces in the province, such as the beech forest in the Tejeda Negra Nature Reserve.

Araba-Álava (Province)

It is located in northern Spain, in the south of the Basque Country, and is the most extensive province in the Basque region. The capital is the city of Vitoria, which is also the regional capital.

Costa Barcelona

Located in Catalonia, it has over 100 kilometres of coastline sprinkled with stylish towns and charming fishing villages. Natural parks, golf courses, breathtaking historical buildings, nightlife, traditional festivals and great cuisine are some of the attractions of this part of the Mediterranean.

Cantabria

If you’re thinking of planning a getaway to Cantabria in what is known as Green Spain, you can look forward to a trip full of beautiful scenery, excellent gastronomy and unique heritage.

Lleida (Province)

It is located in northeast Spain in the interior of the region of Catalonia. The province has some extremely valuable Catalan Romanesque churches in the Vall de Boi, awarded the World Heritage designation by the UNESCO.

Costa de Cantabria

Cantabria, on the Bay of Biscay in northern Spain, offers over 220 kilometres of coastline, with more than 90 beaches in fantastic natural settings.

Ávila (Province)

Located in the Castile-León region in the northern part of the Spanish interior, its landscape is divided into two completely distinct areas: a more mountainous area in the centre and towards the north; and the southern part which has milder temperatures and is the site of the Tiétar valley.

Seville (Province)

It is located in southern Spain, in the central part of Andalusia. The capital, Seville, is also the capital of the region of Andalusia, and is home to an architectural and artistic heritage which comprises the Cathedral, the Alcázar Arab fortress and the Indias Archive. It has been awarded the World Heritage designation by the UNESCO.

Fuerteventura (Island)

Fuerteventura is in the Canary Islands and measures 210 kilometres from one end to the other. It is outstanding for its magnificent white sand beaches and for the bright sun that shines all year round.

Valencia (province)

Located in Eastern Spain, in the centre of the Region of Valencia on the shores of the Mediterranean sea.

Madrid (Province)

Castile-La Mancha

This is a land famous for its arts and crafts, for the unique monuments to be seen in its towns and cities, and for being the setting for the adventures of the famous literary hero Don Quixote of La Mancha.

Costa de la Luz

Golden sand, long beaches and amazing sunsets await you on the beaches of Cadiz and Huelva, but there’s much more.

Andalusia

This is a land of culture, history, fiestas, nature areas and excellent food. You’ll be able to visit everything from outstanding monuments to a wide variety of different natural landscapes… and you'll have the chance to take part in several unique popular events and sample a range of delicious gastronomic products.

Cádiz (Province)

It is located in southern Spain, in the region of Andalusia. Its coastline is part of the Costa de la Luz (Coast of Light) and features numerous golden sandy beaches, including everything from beaches in urban areas to extensive, practically unspoilt stretches of sand. In the interior, the popular White Villages Route is highly recommended.

Galicia

Its capital, Santiago de Compostela is the final destination on the Way of Saint James, the famous pilgrim route. For this reason alone it is worth visiting this region in Green Spain.

Barcelona (Province)

It is located in northeast Spain in the centre of the region of Catalonia. The provincial capital is the city of Barcelona, which is also the capital of the region.

Extremadura

A region of contrasts where you’ll be able to visit exceptionally valuable monumental sites, enjoy a whole host of natural landscapes, and sample one of Spain’s most highly-prized cured hams.

Castellón-Castelló (Province)

It is located in the north of the Region of Valencia in eastern Spain, and is known by the brand name of Castellón Costa Azahar.

Badajoz (Province)

It is located in the south of the region of Extremadura in western Spain. It is the largest province in the country, and is a land of contrasts. Its landscape features pastures dotted with holm oaks, in combination with mountains and Mediterranean forests. It is also the site of natural treasures such as the Cornalvo Nature Reserve.

Soria (Province)

Located in the Castile-León region in the northern part of inland Spain. It is home to several outstanding nature areas, including the Sierra de Urbión mountains, the Laguna Negra lake, and the Cañón del Río Lobos Nature Reserve.

Coast of Castellón

You'll find Castellón on the Spanish Mediterranean coast in the north of the Region of Valencia, with over 120 kilometres of coastline and some of the loveliest beaches in the area. It’s known as Costa del Azahar - the Orange Blossom Coast.

On the shores of the Mediterranean Sea in south-eastern Spain you'll find over 200 kilometres of coastline with wonderful beaches and coves that are ideal for bathing. You're practically guaranteed warm weather in this area. Don't miss a visit to the Cabo de Gata-Níjar nature reserve and the spectacular cliffs.
