Castro de Rei

The visit to Castro de Rei explores the culture of typical pre-Roman forts and fortifications in Galicia, with beautiful natural surroundings. Its old town has been declared Property of Cultural Interest.

Castro Urdiales

Also known as Flavióbriga after the Roman settlement which stood here, Castro Urdiales has all the charm of a small seafaring and fishing village with a rich tradition and tourist atmosphere, aided by the beaches of Urdiales, El Fraile and Brazomar.

Chinchilla de Monte-Aragón

Located on a hill that dominates the plains of La Mancha, the town of Chinchilla de Monte Aragón has a remarkable castle built in the 15th century by Juan Pacheco, marquis of Villena, and a beautiful medieval historic quarter.

Chinchón

Chinchón's beautiful medieval square is the most emblematic feature of Chinchón. With its irregular ground plan and consisting of two- and three-storey houses with balconies, it has long been – and still is – the scene of many activities and shows.

Chipude

The district takes in part of the Garajonay National Park, declared a World Heritage Site.

Ciudad Rodrigo, listed as a historic and artistic site, is an outstanding fortified town located in the west of the province of Salamanca.

Ciutadella de Menorca

On the far western end of Minorca lays the city of Ciutadella, the old capital of the island. Its remote origins have left an important archaeological heritage in the area, in the form of megaliths such as the "taulas" (megalith), the Talaiot and the navetas.

Coca

Birthplace of the famous Roman emperor Theodosius the Great. With a doubt, the most outstanding feature of the town is its castle, one of the best-preserved in Spain.

Cogolludo

The most remarkable feature at Cogolludo is the Ducal Palace, declared a listed monument in 1931. It has a dressed façade, a cornice with dentils, a gorgeous main front, and in its interior, a Plateresque courtyard and a Gothic-Mudejar chimney.

Colera

Several prehistoric funereal monuments show that Platja d'Aro was an important settlement in the most distant times. There is also evidence of Roman presence in the village, from the Plá de Palol archaeological site.

Combarro

The village of Combarro is located in the Rías Baixas estuaries, six kilometres from the city of Pontevedra.

Comillas

Comillas is 50 kilometres from Santander and is a designated historic-artistic site. It has cobbled streets and squares with ancestral houses, towers and Modernist style buildings.

Compludo

Compludo is just 20 kilometres from Ponferrada. A visit is well worthwhile for the views of the valley, the landscapes that surround the village and the various monuments to be seen.

Conil de la Frontera

Located to the south-east of the province of Cadiz, this is a rich and natural fishing-shore, whose greatest appeal lies on its vast, white beaches, and its cliffs.
