Preparation
Roll out the pastry dough on the work surface until you get a thin sheet. Roll the pastry around some fine metal tubes to give it shape, leaving the ends open. Then put them in the oven. Take them out of the oven when they are done and remove the tubes.

Serve them hot, filled with baking custard and covered with icing sugar.
