Lagunas del Sur de Cordoba Natural Reserve

Located in the southern part of the province of Cordoba, surrounding the towns of Lucena, Aguilar de la Frontera, Puente Genil, Baena and Luque, it is made up of the permanent lagoons of Zóñar, Rincón and Amarga, and the seasonal lagoons of Tíscar, Jarales and Salobral.

La Gomera Biosphere Reserve

With an area of 369 square kilometres, it is the second smallest of the Canary Islands. It was declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 2012.

Gerês – Xurés Biosphere Reserve

This protected space is shared between Spain and Portugal, and is one of the largest trans-border reserves in the European Union. It was recognised as a Biosphere Reserve by the UNESCO in 2009 and includes the Baixa Limia – Serra do Xurés Nature Reserve.

Trasmiera ecopark

It has been recognised by the European Commission as a European Destination of Excellence (EDEN), for its sustainable tourism proposal. It is part of the Marismas de Santoña, Victoria and Joyel Nature Reserve.

Gorbeia Natural Park

This natural park is located in the Basque Country, between the provinces of Álava and Vizcaya and has as its summit Mount Gorbeia (1,482 meters), the highest elevation in both and one of the most popular destinations for Basque hikers.
