The maximum price is €0.65 per kilometre during daytime (minimum fare: €3.99); and €0.78 per kilometre during the night (minimum night fare: €4.79). Gijón and Oviedo, the two main cities in Asturias, are a similar distance from the airport, and travelling from the airport to either of them by taxi costs at least €50.

Highway

The airport is only 15 km away from Avilés, 40 km away from Gijón and 47 km away from Oviedo, the three most populated cities in the region of Asturias. It can be accessed from both the A-8 motorway and the N-632 road.

Bus

There are regular lines to Avilés (single ticket €4.5), Gijón (€9) and Oviedo (€9). Buses depart from the airport every day between 08:00 and 00:00, running every hour, but it is advisable to check the timetables on the website of the company providing the service, as they can change from one day to another.
