Cala del Retor nestles between the modern marina and the hill where the remains can be seen of the Iberian settlement Orpesa la Vella. It is a small cove, 70 metres long by 45 metres wide, with fine sand and calm, shallow water, and not many visitors, so it’s an ideal place to get some peace and quiet.

Take the Camino de Ronda to reach this cove, set in quiet surroundings. It is not frequented by many bathers, yet pleasure boats often stop off here. The cove is sheltered by huge rocks.
