San Andrés Church

This old Romanesque church was rebuilt in the 16th century and has a single nave with twin interlinked chapels. Worthy of special mention are the Gothic ogive vaults and the Baroque and Renaissance altarpieces to be found inside, such as that dedicated to San Andrés in the Los Sotelo chapel and, especially, Don Antonio Sotelo's tomb, an alabaster work created by Pompeio Leoni at the end of the 16th century which invokes the deceased through a series of religious adornments. Next to San Andrés Church is the 18th century Seminary building.
