Tarragona
The circus was built at the end of the 1st century AD, possibly in the time of Emperor Domitian. The building was for holding shows, such as chariot races. It served that function until the 5th century.It is part of the monumental ensemble of Tarraco, which was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
