The museum's most valuable and extensive collections pertain to the Baroque and 19th century, often by Cordoban or Andalusian artists, although it also features works by Italian Renaissance masters. The works of artists such as Bartolomé Bermejo, Valdés Leal, Murillo, Luis de Morales, Zurbarán, Ribera, Antonio del Castillo and the local sculptor Mateo Inurria stand out.Equally noteworthy is its important collection of works on paper, in which the drawings section stands out.
