Museum of the Collegiate Church of San Isidoro

A myriad of treasures relating to the history of this region of Spain.

The Romanesque site of San Isidoro houses the museum, where you can admire a great many works of art related to the history of the ancient Kingdom of Leon, as well as to its diocese. The outstanding pieces exhibited include the Goblet of Doña Urraca, the Ark of the Ivories and the Portapaz of the Pantocrator (all 11th century), as well as the Processional Cross of Enrique de Arce and his Medieval Codices, fabrics and marble pieces from the Middle Ages, and even gravestones of Roman origin.
