  • 10Ronda, Malaga

    This impressive gorge, which plunges to a depth of 150 m, is in Ronda, a pretty town in the province of Malaga (Andalusia). It’s wonderful to wander through its streets and admire the 98-metre high Puente Nuevo (New Bridge). And at night when it is all lit up, it’s even more magical.   • 10Plaza Mayor square in Madrid

    The second most successful post of 2021 was this one of the Plaza Mayor square in Madrid. The usual way to visit this 400-year-old city icon is on foot, but have you ever seen it from above? It’s really fascinating to see how it’s rectangular shape stands out from the maze of streets.   • 10The Albaicín neighbourhood in Granada

    The bronze medal goes to this collection of photos of the city of Granada (Andalusia). Specifically, they are photos of the Albaicín district.   • 10Mount Teide, Tenerife

    This impressive mountain you see is the Teide, a volcano that stands at 3,700 metres and is the highest mountain in Spain. Did you know you can travel to the summit by cable car? To see it, simply travel to the island of Tenerife, which, as you can see in the photo, has stunning beaches and the pretty Maritime Park designed by César Manrique.   • 10Plaza de España square in Seville

    We return to Andalusia to admire this photo of Seville’s Plaza de España square. Lovely, isn't it? It has a diameter of 170 metres and features a canal you can tour by boat. The different regions of Spain are represented in its tile work and it’s located right next to the María Luisa Park which you can visit in a horse-drawn carriage.   • 10Marimurtra Botanical Garden, Girona

    This small temple with views across the sea looks like something out of a fairytale... Actually it is located in Blanes (Girona, Catalonia) and is part of the Marimurtra Botanical Garden. Get you camera ready because the photos you take there will be truly unique.   • 10La Rambla, Barcelona

    Barcelona just had to be on this list, and it features in the most-liked posts of 2021 with this original photo of La Rambla taken from the air. This is the most iconic avenue in the city. If you walk the entire 1,200 metres you will go from Plaza de Cataluña square to the port. You will pass the pretty flower stalls and, on the way, you can stop at the Liceu Opera House, the Boquería Market and the Columbus Monument and viewpoint.     This photo of the Basilica of Nuestra Señora del Pilar is sure to impress. It is the city’s most famous landmark, and one of the most beautiful monuments in Spain.     These twilight views are of Toledo. Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful destinations in Spain and known as “the City of Three Cultures” due to its mixture of Christian, Muslim and Jewish monuments. What stands out in this photo is the imposing building of the Alcázar fortress. Its popularity is due to the challenge of the Camino de Santiago, one of the most famous pilgrimage routes in the world.
