Roses

The former Greek colony of Roses stretches between the sea and the mountains, right on the Costa Brava.

Rota

Rota is in the north of the Bay of Cadiz. One of its most significant buildings is Luna Castle (13th century), currently home to the Town Hall and the local tourist board.

Candelaria

The Atlantic town of Candelaria is located 17 kilometres from Santa Cruz de Tenerife, capital of the province of the same name and the island of Tenerife.

Canet de Mar

Historic Canet de Mar, on the coast of Barcelona province, has an interesting town centre.

Cangas de Onís

Cangas de Onís, capital of the area of the same name, sits in the valley formed by the rivers Sella and Güeña.

Cantavieja

The historic capital of Alto Maestrazgo features not only splendid monumental and architectural heritage, but also the echoes of ancient legends and battles. Its historic quarter has the Property of Cultural Interest designation.

Caravaca de la Cruz

The beautiful town of Caravaca de la Cruz is located to the northwest of the province of Murcia. In the houses that extend around the castle there are beautiful examples of the Murcian Renaissance.

Carballiño

O Carballiño is a town situated in the far northwest of the province of Ourense, crossed by the course of the river Arenteiro.

Cardona

Located in a valley in central Catalonia, on the banks of the Cardoner river, Cardona is a picturesque site with an important mediaeval heritage.

Carranque

Carranque is in the La Sacra region of Toledo province, less than an hour from Madrid. Its Archaeological Park takes you back to Roman times.

Carrión de los Condes

A town of great importance at the time of the old pilgrimages to Santiago de Compostela. Its medieval origins can be seen in some of the historic buildings and in the old town.

Cartagena

The port of Cartagena, in the Mediterranean's Costa Cálida, has been prized since Carthaginian times. Thanks to its strategic position on the Murcia coast, it has been inhabited by several cultures which have left their mark on its artistic heritage.
