Beach: Chanteiro

A beach that is open to the sea, but protected at each end by rocks, which also separate the neighbouring small, very rocky and very beautiful coves.

It forms part of Playa Marina residential development. Sunbeds and sunshades are available. At the far end of the beach is an area full of fishing boats lying on the sand.

A beach with moderate sized waves. It lies next to the local swimming pool of Silos that also has restaurants and shower facilities. The beach is supervised by a Red Cross boat in summer.

There is a naturally formed swimming pool amongst the rocks that can be accessed by foot after a five minute walk. It lies in an unspoiled area, dotted with a few houses and farmed land. It has excellent services and facilities.

This is a very popular area with tourists in a volcanic environment, the deep green water of the Charco de Los Clicos Lagoon and the beautiful natural black sand beach, all of which create an almost dream-like atmosphere. It is located in a protected area and its waters are within the protection area.

An area with few people, in an unspoiled setting that has good accesses, and a variety of facilities. Very calm sea.

A small cove lying in front of a nudist colony. It is an excellent location for scuba-diving.

It is a small beach in an unspoilt setting.

Beach: Charco San Lorenzo

A beach protected by rocks that lie a few metres offshore. This is how the beach got its name as when the sea is calm it forms a type of pooled enclosure. It has several services and facilities.

It provides easy access and a variety of services, such as a car park, beach bars and restaurants.

A wide stretch of volcanic sand located in a wild environment. It possesses facilities and is easily accessed.

This beach in the shape of a bay is a quiet spot, partly because it lies well away from the big tourist centres. The water is clean and there are pretty views of the area around the big rock.

Used as an anchor point, with a car park, bars, public telephones and accommodation all close by.

Lying in an as yet unspoiled part of the island. It has white sand and there is a sprinkling of stones both in the surf and on the sea bed. Nudists frequent the beach.

A quite crowded beach located in an unspoiled place with golden sand. Here you can surf. There is a pretty promenade. You can get there by bus or by car on the C-813 at 5 km from Arucas.

It is located in a quiet, unspoiled area. Its sand is fine and white, and the rocky surroundings and uneven landscape form an entrance to the island.

Located on the Teguise coast and nearly 300 metres in length. The sand is white and fine, protected from the waves and with calm water. Bordered by a peaceful promenade, with car park and easily accessible. The beaches on the Teguise coast are highly valued by divers.

This beach is tucked away amidst a highly vegetated environment. It is easy to reach and provides car park facilities. At one end of the cove, there are some exclusive views to take in.

Playa Chica located in La Oliva is a beach measuring 200 metres in length.

As it tends to have moderate winds it is an ideal location for sailing sports as well as for fishing. The vegetation is not too abundant.
