It is also home to the Royal Symphony Orchestra of Seville (ROSS), and one of the regular venues for the famous Flamenco Biennial.Since its opening in 1991, its stage has hosted masterful performances of Carmen, The Barber of Seville, Aida and other classic operas, and great figures of bel canto such as Luciano Pavarotti, Montserrat Caballé, Plácido Domingo and Cecilia Bartoli.
