Founded by Froila and built in 940, in the vegetable gardens of Celanova monastery. It is a jewel of Mozarabic architecture. It is made up of three parts: a vestibule, the quadrangular nave, and an apse with a circular plan and rectangular exterior. Inside, it has a ribbed vault over horseshoe arches at the crossing, and a sloping dome. The roof is hipped. There is a lintel over the main door. It is dedicated to St. Michael.
