The museum houses a collection of the traditional spaces and belongings of the people who once lived in western Asturias. Visitors will find a well-preserved representation of a traditional kitchen (called a lareira), weaving looms, a school, a bedroom, a forge, a carpenter's shop, a turner's shop, a cobbler's shop, a wine cellar, a tavern, and even a mill. You can also see hunting and fishing equipment, farm implements, traditionally woven baskets, and other items.
