What are the wines like?
Jumilla produces powerful and expressive wines, most of them made from Monastrell grapes. The young reds have vivid colours and fruity aromas. Meanwhile, the crianza wines are substantial and notable for their aromatic complexity, with certain hints of wood. On the other hand, rosé wines show pink, raspberry and cherry tones, fruity aromas, and are tasty and fresh in the mouth. The whites are also excellent, made from Macabeo grapes, with a fresh flavour and clean, bright colours.
