A look at the beginnings of one of the great figures of 20th century contemporary art in Spain.
The exhibition covers the work of the Catalan artist, focusing on his early years and, in particular, the 1950s. A period marked by profound changes in his form of artistic expression. The itinerary is structured around four solo exhibitions that he held at that time, each with different approaches and formats. Thanks to them, it is possible to relate Tàpies' production to some of the cultural debates of his time. For example, his vision of modern architecture, design, industry or the transformation of urban spaces.
