Four days of pure UCI MTB in the spectacular setting of El Rompido, in Huelva.
This competition forms part of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI). The competition consists of three marathon stages and a time trial to close (if a classification hasn’t been determined).Although the central base is located in the pretty coastal area of El Rompido, the four stages of the competition cover a large part of the region of Huelva. Participants will travel through iconic places such as Sanlúcar de Guadiana, La Laja Port (on the banks of the Guadiana River), and the Wharf of the Caravels located in La Rábida de Palos de la Frontera. Along the route, the competitors will encounter dolmen sites, steep climbs and spectacular mining landscapes. The aim is for the contestants to muster all their stamina to become genuine “legends of Tartessos” (the name given by the Greeks to the first Western civilization they knew and which was developed in this area of Spain).More information: www.laleyendadetartessos.com
