Cartagena International Film Festival

Since 1972, Cartagena, in the Region of Murcia, has held its own festival dedicated to film.

The festival was initially centred on productions with the sea as the main protagonist, but since 2005 has featured all types of productions, although with particular attention to new film-makers and national talent. It is divided into several sections including feature films, short films, animated stories and productions from the Region of Murcia.
