Malaga Bullring Tour

La Malagueta Tour offers the visit of Malaga Bullring, located in the La Malagueta neighborhood, next to Paseo Reding, in the city of Malaga. The neoclassical-style bullring, designed by Joaquín Rucoba, was inaugurated on June 11, 1876, with a capacity for approximately 9,000 spectators. It was declared a Historic-Artistic Site in 1976 by the Andalusian Regional Government, coinciding with the centenary of its inauguration, and a Site of Cultural Interest in 1981.The tour includes a guided visit to very private areas such as the infirmary, corrals and bullpens, stands, and the bullring. During the tour, you will discover historical sites, interesting facts, and the evolution of the building's use. The visit concludes with access to the world's most modern Bullfighting Museum, which opened last March 21, 2025. In its six immersive galleries, visitors can explore:-The History of the Bull from ancient times (with archaeological artifacts, cave paintings, and a tactile map);-Bullfighting on Horseback (rejoneo) with an exhibition of a jacket worn by rejoneador Álvaro Domecq;-Art and Modern Bullfighting (works by Alberti, Cocteau, etc.) and immersive AI projections;-The Phases of Bullfighting (costumes of illustrious Málaga bullfighters, such as the one designed by Christian Lacroix for Javier Conde);-The Dehesa Brava (Wild Dehesa) with olfactory and tactile displays;-The influence of bullfighting on fashion, film, and popular culture. The tour also includes several interactive technological experiences: virtual reality with the virtual bullfighting simulator, 360° projections with virtual glasses, and interactive audio guides in several languages.Accessibility: Adapted for people with disabilitiesVisiting Hours: Open daily.
