The beach has excellent facilities. The sand is fine and white, and the water is turquoise. It has a set of small steps that lead to the beach. The beach is quite wide. Half of the beach has houses behind it and the other half is full of vegetation. It has an access for the disabled.

This cove has spectacular waters and a wonderful seabed and lies in between two rocky cuts that make it even more spectacular.

Beach: Los Colmenares

Lying next to Barranco Beach and about 500 metres from the hotels and golf courses. There is accommodation, but it lies a little further back from the beach. The beach is consequently not as busy as the tourists tend to stay in the hotel and make use of their extensive facilities.

Beach: Colón

It is an ideal water sport beach (sailing, scuba-diving etc). The seabed is wonderful and the water is crystal-clear. There are beautiful views from the Regatas Royal Club.

Beach: La Colonia

Beach located in the urban part of the city, surrounded by gardens, palm trees and recreational areas. It starts at the hill from which the Las Águilas Castle rises. The beach slopes gently into the sea, making it perfect for swimming.

A small beach located in a rustic setting. It possesses a pleasant promenade. The nearest port is that of Alcaravaneras. It can be reached by car, following the C-813, 5 Km from Arucas
