Volleyball and football are both played here. It has pitches marked out on the sand for both sports. Behind the beach there is a small canal with a number of fishing boats. Shell-shaped beach excellent for scuba-diving (there is a scuba-diving club). Very well equipped. Several ice-cream stalls can be found along the beach. The swimming area is marked by buoys. Large expanse of sand in a peaceful area. You can rent pedal crafts.

Beach: Lomo Galeón

Beautiful little cove protected by a valley chiselled into the barren volcanic mountains. The waters are deep green in colour. You can also see La Piedra Gigante (Giant Stone) from the beach.

Beach: Lóngara

It is a beach with a surfing atmosphere and has a section which is cordoned off exclusively for practising this sport. Situated below a cliff, it has pretty views. The dunes are also protagonists on this long beach.

It is the third beach of the three which form the largest stretch of sand in the whole of Cantabria. It has showers and a car park. Like the other two, it offers attractive views of Santander and Magdalena Palace. On the right side of the beach there is a campsite.

A beach with usually calm waters and golden sand, Los Haraganes is located between the beaches of Punta del Moral and Isla Canela. It is separated from the promenade by a small range of dunes. This is a very calm and peaceful spot.

A beach overlooked by a cliff. It offers beautiful view from the heights. The vegetation in the surrounding area is one of the main reasons for visiting.
