Son Marroig estate

The imposing landscape, aesthetic beauty and sensitivity towards nature make this an exceptional site. The estate’s owner, the Archduke of Austria, Luis Salvador of Habsburg, gave rein to his personal ideas on garden design in two other places nearby: Son Moragues, which features an orchard with terraces, a pronounced difference in height resolved by numerous steps, and an oval pool; and Miramar, where he repeats the theme of balconies overlooking the cliffs and the sea.
