Madrid

The building was built by Juan de Villanueva in 1788 to house the Casa de Nuevo Rezado of the Hieronymite monks. It is a building built in neoclassical style, of great simplicity. From the outside, highlights include the prominent entrance with its projecting balcony, decorated with the grill of Saint Lawrence. The adjacent Palace of the Marquis of Molins was annexed between 1974 and 1976 as part of the renovation work by the architect Chueca Goitia.
