Parc Samà is a garden filled with memories, a Mediterranean orchard, a poetic forest, a melancholic palace...
It is the place of retreat that Salvador Samà i Torrents, Marqués de Marianao commissioned to build in 1881, between Cambrils and Montbrió in a location surrounded by almond and olive groves and vineyards. It is an Indian legacy, a fusion of styles and a pleasure for the senses. This park is an authentic homage to beauty, a landscape filled with memories. Taking a stroll through it will bring back nostalgia from other worlds and times: Cuba under Spain, orderly France, romantic England, tranquil Asia and classical Greece. It is a place replete with symbolism and a true reflection of the spirit its owner. Here, nature and modernism are perfectly combined, thanks to the great master Josep Fontserè i Mestres and his collaboration with Antoni Gaudí. In this way, the grottos, walkways and benches create the appearance of rocks, shells and branches, carefully designed to represent a real landscape.
