The house with the crenellated tower


This noble home is noteworthy for its slender crenellated tower, built in the 15th century.

The palace of Las Cigüeñas is also known as the palace of Capitán Diego de Ovando or La Casa de Las Cigüeñas house, and was built in the late 15th century by Diego de Cáceres. The most distinctive feature of this noble home is its crenellated tower, which offers spectacular views over the city. It is now a branch of Caja de Extremadura.
