Segorbe Municipal Archaeological and Ethnological Museum

Castellón-Castelló

Founded in 1988, the museum is intended to have an educational purpose.

The Municipal Museum is devoted to the archaeology and ethnology of the Alto Palancia region, although at this time only the Archaeology Section is open. The latter is located on the first floor of the building and occupies a floor area of 288 sq m. The archaeological materials, found in different excavations in the region, are on display in four rooms, grouped chronologically. This gives an overview of the development of this extensive period in Alto Palancia. These artefacts are in display cases, accompanied by drawings, photographs and explanatory texts located both inside and outside of the cases, which help visitors understand the contents.
