Unique views of Lanzarote

The Mirador del Río, located on the cliff of Risco de Famara, at an altitude of almost 500 metres, offers a spectacular panoramic view of the island of Lanzarote. It houses one of the most emblematic buildings by architect César Manrique.

Barely perceptible from the outside as it is hidden beneath the rock, this building by Manrique represents perfect integration with nature. On the outside there is a wrought iron sculpture that symbolises water and air. Inside, visitors can find traditional ceramics, numerous sculptures and large windows that provide a beautiful view of the island. Its vaulted main hall, domes and exterior balconies are also a must-see.
