From the Iberian-Roman period

Since 1983, the museum's collection has been housed in the Los Dávalos mansion, generally known as the 'Casa del Torreón'.

The museum is dedicated to the ancient Iberian-Roman town of Cástulo –one of the most important archaeological sites in the Upper Guadalquivir region. It has an interesting collection of Iberian architectural objects. These include zoomorphic figures (various lions and a horse's neck), along with columns and capitals from the 5th-3rd centuries B.C., all in very good condition.
