Direct line to the universe
A journey into astronomy from ancient Egypt to the present day.
The museum takes us on a tour through a series of rooms, including: the Astronomy room, with instruments used by different civilisations to observe the stars throughout history; the Planetarium, with audiovisual projections; the Time Machine and Treasures of the Earth sections, which tell the story of the universe and our planet; the Engine of Life section, exploring biodiversity, climate and energy using Castile-La Mancha as an example; and the History of the Future, where we can find out about space, for example through a reproduction of a possible housing module for Mars or by sending a message to the cosmos. The building has a panoramic terrace with views of the old quarter of Cuenca.
