Endless beaches and water sports

Mont-roig del Camp is one of the main tourist destinations on the Costa Dorada (Tarragona province), mainly on account of its 12 kilometres of beaches, with an array of hotels, campsites, holiday apartments, developments and residential areas. The beaches here are long and sandy, and there are also smaller, more peaceful coves. You can practise water sports such as windsurfing, underwater fishing and water skiing. Horse riding and golf are other activities available in the region.

Mont-roig del Camp's most outstanding monuments are: Mare de Déu de la Roca Shrine (13th century) with stunning views; the 19th century Sant Ramon chapel, which serves as a landmark for sailors to this day; Vella Church with its bell tower, in Renaissance style with late Gothic elements, the venue for all kinds of cultural events; Nova de Sant Miquel Church (19th century).
