Lanjarón

Granada

Lanjarón is 49 kilometres from Granada, in the heart of the Sierra Nevada National Park.

The village is famous for its medicinal waters and is home to a large spa resort. It is well worth taking a stroll around the village. It has narrow, Moorish-style streets, and its houses have traditional architecture, adapted to the rugged terrain of the region. Two of Lanjarón's most notable monuments are its 16th century Mudejar style parish church and the remains of its Moorish castle.
