Cala Ratjada

Mallorca

Ratjada Cove is located by a point of the same name, in the westernmost end of the island of Majorca.

This tourist centre with pristine waters has not lost its original fisherman's town atmosphere. A season of classical music named "A winter in Majorca" is held at its parish church, which the visitor must not miss. On the shore of the Mediterranean we have Ratjada Cove's lighthouse, a historic warning to sailors. From this place we can enjoy some of the best views of the surrounding scenery. On clear days, we can even distinguish the island of Minorca, which can be reached by joining one of the boat excursions that are organised at the cove.

History and archaeology lovers can visit the Talaiot sites and lime ovens found in the country estate of Son Sastre. We speak of Capdepera's golf course, which is very worth visiting, even if one does not play the game.
