Asturias
The Peñas cape is a remarkable strip of land which projects out into the Cantabrian Sea in the central section of the Asturian coastline, and which has been declared to be protected countryside.
The northernmost point on the Iberian Peninsula, with cliffs over 100 metres high, combines fishing villages with excellent beaches. The most emblematic building is the lighthouse erected in 1852. From here you can take in the excellent views of the nearby inlets like Sabín, with its sandy beach.
