Exhibition. Yuko Mohri: Entanglements

The Centro Botín in Santander is hosting the first solo exhibition in Spain by this Japanese artist, which brings together a comprehensive selection of her installations from the 2000s to the present day. 

These works are an invitation to discover the beauty of the everyday by means of mobile structures made from common objects and musical instruments. Mohri's installations reveal phenomena such as magnetism, gravity and humidity; invisible manifestations that are converted into circuits that activate light, sound, and movement through these montages.  A stand-out composition is Piano Solo: Belle-Île, which generates sounds autonomously by reacting to environmental stimuli. The route is completed by several new works, created specifically for this space, which explore the relationship between technology and nature.
