International Dixieland Festival

Das Internationale Dixieland-Festival findet seit 1994 an verschiedenen Schauplätzen von Tarragona statt.

The event focuses on the most traditional aspect of jazz, namely the New Orleans or Dixieland style, which is characterised by three types of melody: ragtime, blues and Europan marches. The main venue is the Metropol Theatre, although performances are also held at other concert halls around the city.
