This international event, which promotes equality, respect and inclusion of LGTBIAQ+ identities through sporting participation in almost 40 disciplines, is coming to Spain for the first time.
These include swimming, athletics, basketball, martial arts, triathlon, rugby, volleyball, badminton, 7-a-side and 11-a-side football, sailing and DanceSport, and two local sports: pilota valenciana and colpbol. The tournaments will be held in different venues all over the city.In addition to competitions, the opening and closing ceremonies and medal ceremonies, the programme also includes concerts, exhibitions, parties and other entertainment activities. Most of them will take place in the Gay Games Village. A place designed to relax and encourage contact between people from all over the world.
