Fuerteventura - The Arch & The Caves

This easy hike, consisting of two short routes, will take you through Betancuria Rural Park and the Ajuy Natural Monument. You'll have the opportunity to discover the landscapes and essence of Fuerteventura, while also getting closer to the world of hiking and nature.For the first part of the route, we will head to Betancuria Rural Park, where we will ascend a ravine to discover a unique and sacred place in Fuerteventura's history. Then, for the second part, we will continue towards the picturesque fishing village of Ajuy, a site of great geological and historical importance, declared a natural monument. Following a simple coastal path, we will reach the volcanic caves to finish the walk on the beautiful black sand beach.Activity not recommended for children under 10 years old.Activity not suitable for people with reduced mobility.The activity could be suspended in the event of weather warnings or bulletins issued by the Government of the Canary Islands.Approximate pick-up time: 09:00 hours.Approximate return time: 4:00 pm.Distance of the route: 7 Km approx.Difficulty: low.Type of route: round trip.Pick up: Corralejo, Puerto del Rosario, Antigua, Gran Tarajal areas.This activity includes: Accompanying guide, insurance, pickup and transfers and CO2 Offsetting.
