We will start our tour from Seville, crossing the nearby town of Coria del Rio on the banks of the Guadalquivir. Then we will go to the Dehesa de Abajo Visitor Centre, located in the northern part of the marshes, where we will see many species of birds among the lagoons, pine forests and pastures. We will pass by the rice field and the largest colony of storks in Europe. The marshes are home to 200,000 individuals of more than 300 species of birds every year. We will continue the route through the northern zone that makes this the most important wetland on the continent. We will visit the village of El Rocío, its hermitage and the SEO observatory. We will enter the palaces and trails of the Doñana National Park along the stream of La Rocina. After lunch we will go to the beach to visit the largest dune system in Spain. On our way back and taking advantage of the sunset, we will walk through the pine forest of El Abalario, an area where we may possibly be able to spot some of the large mammals of the Doñana Natural Area.
