Arribes del Duero, the Grand Canyon by kayak

Three guided tours (limited during the breeding season for protected birds) take place between walls over 200 meters high, along the Castro Dam, the last Spanish stretch before the Douro River shares with Portugal. Highlights include the impressive Requejo Bridge, from the Eiffel School, and a very important community of Egyptian vultures. The Miranda do Douro and Bemposta Dams, international waters, are possibly the areas with the highest and most inaccessible granite walls in the Natural Park.Stage one: We will navigate the Castro Dam section in the morning, starting from our kayaking center, "La Casa del Duero," a round trip of approximately 12 km.Stage two: We will navigate the Miranda do Douro Dam, approximately 14 km, a round trip.Stage three: We will visit the Bemposta Dam, approximately 15 km, a one-way trip, where the organizers will pick us up.Includes: Equipment, insurance, picnic, photos, guide... Accommodation not included.
