Butterflies and orchids walks

Valencia region, in East Spain, is considered one of the most diverse European areas for butterflies. A staggering 159 species of butterflies have been recorded. That means 70% of all the species found in the Iberian Peninsula.The key of this diversity is due to its variety of habitats and mountains ranges. In this itinerary, we will visit the hills and mountains of La Marina Alta where we will see an interesting variety of butterflies, orchids and wild flowers. Besides, we will also keep an eye on birds.
